May 8, 2018; Huntington Beach, CA: AION Marketing Director, Melissa Sampson, was a panelist today at the Apartment Internet Marketing (AIM) Conference in Huntington Beach, California, today. Founded in 2005, AIM is considered the most detailed and informative marketing event for the multi-family industry, with nearly 700 industry marketing executives and sponsors in attendance.
Ms. Sampson’s panel, Data Driven Marketing Decisions: The Truth About Online Conversion, was moderated by Trevor Riley, VP of Product Management, Leasing and Marketing Suites at Entrata and included Sarah Greenough, CMO and Executive Vice President of Princeton Properties and Morgan Porter, Digital Marketing Director from LMC. The core focus of the panel was discussion of Google’s permeation of the multi-family industry and how to harness Google’s power to increase conversions.
During the panel, Ms. Sampson shared the following regarding the value of using Google: “Our Google My Business searches are up something like 1,300 percent over last year. That’s crazy! And our map views … once I saw that data, I couldn’t help but crack up. It was up 5,555 percent! In 2015, I didn’t even know what Google My Business Was. And now? We’re seeing exponential increases in traffic with this company. The increase in exposure thanks to Google My Business has been astronomical.”
