The AION Team is pleased to announce our new Senior Vice President of People and Culture – Marshelle Hightower. Marshelle brings over 25 years of diversified Human Resources experience to our team. For the last six years, Marshelle served as Corporate Human Resources Director for American Water. She led a number of initiatives while there, including, but not limited to talent development, career succession, employee relations, continuous process improvement projects, organizational design, onboarding, compensation, and job architecture to name a few. Along with the utility industry, Marshelle has worked in real estate and property management, manufacturing/ distribution, waste, and renewable energy, as well as engineering and software development, and has managed both domestic and international HR teams. Marshelle earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology, a minor in Cognitive Neuroscience from Temple University, and her graduate degree in Human Resource Development from Villanova University.
