Marshelle Hightower joins Aion Management as Senior Vice President of People and Culture. Marshelle brings over 25 years of diversified Human Resources experience to our team. For the last six years, Marshelle served as Corporate Human Resources Director for American Water. She led a number of initiatives while there, including, but not limited to talent development, career succession, employee relations, continuous process improvement projects, organizational design, onboarding, compensation and job architecture to name a few. Along with the utility industry, Marshelle has worked in real estate and property management , manufacturing/ distribution, waste and renewable energy, as well as engineering and software development and has managed both domestic and international HR teams. Marshelle earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology, minor in Cognitive Neuroscience from Temple University and her graduate degree in Human Resource Development from Villanova University. In her free time, Marshelle loves to travel, roller skate, event planning, volunteer with several community service organizations as well as watch her children (now young men) play college baseball.
